Prosecutor princess:Episode 5-6

19 Apr

We finally caught up and we’re so pleased we stuck around!

When we thought about our drama viewing we did indeed turn our noses up at this drama- it was all about Oh! My lady and Personal Preference and now look at us- we didn’t watch either (thank goodness!) and somewhere along the way- this drama grew on us so much that we’re actually eagerly anticipating the next couple episodes.

Comments from episodes 5 and 6:

-HOW DARE YOU PROSECUTOR YOON- BASICALLY CALL MA HYE RI A WHORE! You pig! You stupid, nasty emotionally stunted man. We really don’t get how that office can be so damn right nasty to her when she’s nothing but lovely and most of the time inoffensive.

-We don’t like how Ma Hye Ri forgave Prosecutor Yoon so easily- where is her pride? That said we did like her response to his crude insult- dignified and honest. (We like her more and more we watch the show.)

-The revelation about her being fat was so horrible, how dare those bitches!! So insensitive and catty- if our secretary had made a remark about the Cappuccino- we would have made one and thrown it in his ugly face! Everyone finding out she was fat was far worse than facing everyone after the tomato fiasco, because weight is such a personal issue, especially for girls … – We could happily thrown them all in a boiling pot of full fat oil and melted the lot of them.

Harsh? We don’t care.  She’s taken so much crap and she never has anyone on her side. Lawyer In Woo doesn’t quite count and her mother fears Ma Hye Ri’s father’s wrath far too much to really have her back.

HAPPIER NEWS: We loved how she finally succeeded in a case, especially one so serious and important. If we’re honest we were a little frustrated by how she always failed and made mistakes but waiting until episode 6 for her to finally succeed was well worth the wait. In Woo looked so proud of her while he was watching the court case. Sigh*

– We really like In Woo- We’re rooting for you man- don’t mess it up! We love how he’s Ma Hye Ri’s neighbour, so funny! Let the games officially begin.

 cute!

there is some issues in episode 6. especially about hyeri’s past story. I want to know about your opinion. because some people suddenly stop watching PP because of that. And honestly I’m one of them. Lucky me, I decide to continue, otherwise, I will be missing a good drama.
because really… Episode 6 is really really over the top and ridiculous, LOL hahaha

there is an issues where The mom lock her daughter into a cell to loose weight. This scene really bothers me alot. It just too much. How can a mother do this to her Daughter? (my friend say that to me) Eventhough I know it’s not suppose to be taken seriously.
    😉
    Regarding this issues,
This scene really shows Both of her parent, unintentionally were too strict towards Hye Ri. Her father want her to become a good prosecutor, and her mother want her to loose weight and look beautiful. It’s not wrong, though, Because I know they did that because they love Hye Ri so much, and want Hye Ri to become an ideal woman and in order that people would never look down on Hye RI–their beloved child.
But What they did really define Hye RI’s personality in the beginning.
This is where In WOo’s presence is so important to change her point of view about Life. It’s In Woo who give her room in Everything(not strict like his father or people around her), It’s in Woo who trust her ability completely. No wonder slowly but surely, Hye Ri’s feeling towards In WOo is getting deeper. In WOo make her comfortable and enjoy with her life.

I Agree with u! Keep in mind I’m not saying It’s all about in woo who make her change. Every aspect in this series allow Hye Ri to change become a good prosecutor and strong woman.
But I think In woo give her something which other characters didn’t, “Make her comfortable, and make her to enjoy her life more.” Give her confident which she need.
    For example:
Do you notice Hye Ri starting enjoy her food when she is with In Woo?
In episode 9, she clearly tell the meaning In WOo’s presence in her life, “He knows I talk big and am full of myself. he’s fun and makes me feel “comfortable’.”
And I think feeling Enjoy and comfortable are very important for her and IMO become an important element for her transformation.
    ANd
As for scene which his father burns all her shoes and stuff. I’m not bother for that scene. IMO It’s still don’t touch an sensitive issues. Hye Ri’s past story in epi 6 is more sensitive.
Because it’s about weight issues. hehe 😉
